Male calendar... again

I messed up. There's a new one for you boys...

All Actors and Tech Crew - IMPORTANT

CHECK YOUR NAME SPELLINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Your name will be printed on the back of our play t-shirts, the programs, and in the lobby slide show during performances.

Two lists of all actors/tech crew members are posted on the auditorium doors. Check your name to make sure the spelling is correct. If correct, initial your name. If incorrect, correct it LEGIBLY.

You have until 4:00 pm on Friday, October 2nd to make corrections.

Bios - In case you didn't get the email

From Colleen:

Hey everyone!

As Drama Club secretary, it's my job to get all of your bios and headshots for our slideshow/program! It would be superduper if you could email me a photo (in .jpg form) that could serve as a headshot. Basically it just needs to have your face in it, I can crop out other people, etc. so as long as it's a lovely pic of your face, it'll work.

Also, I need bios of approximately 60 words. These should be written in 3rd person, and can include your past experience in theatre (if any), interests/hobbies, and shout outs. Here's an example:

This is Colleen's eighth LHS production, having previously acted in five and teched for two. She is secretary of the Drama Club, president of Music in the Schools, and a Polyglot managing editor. Colleen loves dinosaurs, Harry Potter, and penguins and would like to thank her friends and family for putting up with her stress when she's in a play.

Cast Fee

Just a reminder that your cast fee is due. This cast fee will be used to pay for the expences of putting on this show. If there is a problem paying the fee, please talk to Jim or to Kathy about financial assistance. We will not turn away any requests for aid.

Please make out a check (put your name on it!) to the Lincoln Drama Department for $65 and bring it in as soon as possible (if you haven't already).

By the way, crew and assistant directros do not have to pay the cast fee. Actors are, however, provided with a show t-shirt free of charge. If anyone not in the cast would like a t-shirt or hoodie, or if an actor would like extra shirts of a hoodie, there will be an additional fee for that. Order forms will be avaliable shortly.

Absences

Missed rehearsals due to illness, emergencies, etc. are acceptable (not good, but acceptable) for the time being. That being said, you must contact Jim or I DIRECTLY. I am easy to reach. I have unlimited texting (my number is 503.267.8142). Call or text anytime (if I'm in class, leave a message). I also check my email very regularly. It's not too hard. Telling someone to tell me you won't be there is UNEXCUSED and too many of those, and there will be concequences.

Guidelines - IMPORTANT!

Hello all. I just want to assure that this blog does not get out of hand by laying down a few guidelines.

1) If you are on the cast or crew, you MUST check this DAILY! This is how I will communicate with you.

2) Sometimes I will ask people to comment on posts to make sure everyone has read something. I moderate all comments and anonymous comments will not be published (to avoid people posting hurtful things). To make sure your comment is published, get a Google account or simply sign your name at the end of it.

3) If you haven't noticed, there is a link in the top left corner of this page under the headline "Downloads". This is a link to a file sharing website called Mediafire.com, which I will be using to get a lot of documents out to all of you, so if I tell you to download something, you go there. It's quite simple. I will also make notices about  things you MUST download or important changes to the files there. Lemme know if you have any problems.

Call Backs

Call-backs will begin at 3:45 in the auditorium and go no later than 6:45.  Please bring your completed contracts to the call-backs and be prepared to stay the whole time.  If, for some reason, you cannot attend the call-backs, please see Mr. Peerenboom as soon as possible.  Please sign your initials next to your name so that I know you have seen this call-back list. Tech Interviews

Not that anyone reads this yet, but tech interviews will most likely be Wednesday, September 23rd during the afternoon FLEX. Positions include Light and Sound Board Operators, Run Crew, Stage Hands, Front of House, and Costume Crew. It's fun and much less time consuming. Plus, everyone knows Techies are better than Actors.
